I got the cam to change from red to green by changing /dev/video to
/dev/video/0.  I thought I remembered from years ago that you just selected
channel zero from dropdown menu.  My mistake.

When trying to view the cam I just get a blank screen with a "broken icon"
in center of screen,  for lack of a better term.  Like the browser doesn't
know how to display the feed.  Ice tea plugin is installed in chrome, and I
get a popup asking for permission for it to run.  (Chrome).

When Viewing a recording from modetect, its grey ish with lines through it,
and there's 3 small screens in the recording next to each other.  Away from
home now, otherwise I would provide a screenshot.
