screen size not detected

Here is info from lspci.

So I think I have an Intel graphics card. I looked at the links you provided but could not see what to do next. I assume I do not need to use the propriety drivers.

Is it possible I need to create the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf to let X know that I have an Intel card?
