In the repo-provided ntp package, the driftfile can be set either via
"-f /path/to/file" in "/etc/default/ntp" or "driftfile /path/to/file"
in "/etc/ntp.conf", with the default being "/etc/ntp.drift" (unless
Ubuntu patches in a different default).
