I am afraid that is not true.
I tried Wine - AND its commercial, supposedly better version "Cross-over
- several times.
When I install a software under Wine, I get a display full of questions
marks.
Installing Windows fonts DID NOT help.
I contacted the support at Cross-over - after all they want to have
money for their product - and the answer I got from THEM was:
"In that case, it probably does not work. So, forget it."
And that comes from the professionals who should know best.
No happy computing here.
