I should have added that I double-checked that setting when I first
looked at this a few months ago, and I should be getting copies of my
own posts.
That's a good point about rejection notices.
I haven't changed anything in my email setup within the last few months,
but maybe the folks at gmail have, and they are involved in my mix. My
main email account is hosted by GoDaddy, and I use Thunderbird with
their SMTP server. Thunderbird and GoDaddy support identities (alias
addresses), and I have separate identities for the lubuntu and ubuntu
lists. But for incoming mail, I have GoDaddy forward copies of
everything to a Gmail account, and I read that in Thunderbird via the
Gmail IMAP server.
I see now that my last couple of posts are showing up in the GoDaddy web
mail, so the list server does appear to be exonerated. But it seems
that Gmail has started bouncing those posts for some reason.
