Chromium doesn't include a flash player plugin (Chrome does). So you
need to install
http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/pepperflashplugin-nonfree
from multiverse.
$ apt-cache policy pepperflashplugin-nonfree
pepperflashplugin-nonfree:
  Installed: 1.3ubuntu1
  Candidate: 1.3ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 1.3ubuntu1 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/multiverse amd64
Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

sudo apt-get install pepperflashplugin-nonfree
