It runs forever or until you exit by pressing the Escape key or just
reset the PC.

But the important question is, has it shown any errors?

The errors that you report in this message indicate that your computer
cannot contact the Japanese download servers for Ubuntu. I suggest
that you try switching to a different mirror.
