Gksu in 14.04?

I'm still building the system and have some scripts etc that need to be
copied over from my backup of my crashed Mandriva box. If I happen to
have a permission issue with something copied to ~/ I just change the
permissions to the correct ones. I was told by someone on the list when
I asked a question about su - in my first few days not to use that or
sudo to open nautilus as admin to use gksudo instead. Again, I'm still
learning the workings of Ubuntu so if I'm doing something incorrectly or
there's a better way by all means please let me know.
