Hello
Does UDEV has been modified at 14.04 ? I have upgraded a server
from 13.10 , one interface is renamed at boot up despite the fact I
have configured their names in /etc/udev/rules.d/010_netinterfaces.rules
file as the following
KERNEL=="eth*", SYSFS{address}=="e8:39:35:e9:21:f2", NAME="em1"
KERNEL=="eth*", SYSFS{address}=="e8:39:35:e9:21:f4", NAME="em2"
KERNEL=="eth*", SYSFS{address}=="e8:39:35:e9:21:f6", NAME="em3"
KERNEL=="eth*", SYSFS{address}=="e8:39:35:e9:21:f8", NAME="em4"
it works fine for the 3 first interfaces but not for the 4th which support
a VLAN trunk
( the machine is a KVM hypervisor em1 is the management interface and em4
the 802.1q trunk
thanks for any infos
