I followed Nils suggestion of moving the files, but now I am having a
problem:
Error
Archive directory /var/cache/apt/archive/partial is missing
Could not open lock file /var/cache/apt/archive/lock - open (2: No such
file or directory)
Unable to lock the download directory.
To my uneducated eyes could there be a syntax problem in the two lines of
commands?
sudo mv /var/cache/apt/archives/ /home
sudo ln -s /home/archives /var/cache/apt/
