Which version of SAMBA brings 14.04 LTS ?

I'm not seeing any Samba 3 packages for Ubuntu 14.04 so, short answer,
no... Unless you get the samba sources from saucy and tries to compile it
on Trusty...

Also, I tried to make a very simple share with Samba 4 today, it doesn't
work, like this:

smb.conf share:
---
[projects]
   comment = projects
   read only = yes
   path = /srv/projects
   guest ok = yes
---

And... It doesn't work (I'm seeing that there something wrong with
authentication but, I'm not sure)... So, before upgrading it to Samba 4,
make sure you test it a lot.   ;-)
