Why has ClamAV just been installed on my 12.10 system?

If installing something else had installed ClamAV as a necessary
dependent then I think it would not have let you uninstall ClamAV as
that would have broken the other package.  If ClamAV had been
installed with another package as a "recommends" however then it would
let you uninstall it.
