Depending on what you paid for it, it'll die soon. That's been my
experience, shortly after it goes out of warranty. What really bites is
that many folks, with the same model I had, had their's crap out in
similar fashion to mine and got RMA's to send them back for repair, at
~no charge~ as some part would routinely go wonky AND THEY KNEW ABOUT
IT. I learned of that from their support forum. I figured FIX MINE and
I'll pay the freight since it was only several weeks out of warranty. It
was their printer problem. I got shucks.
I wound up buying a used Lexmark black only laser printer with sheet
trays that'll handle an entire package of paper for $50. Works a charm.
I even got a full toner cartridge in the dead. Ric
