Gene, just had the damnest thing happen on my server down in
Raleigh...actually the eth0 device goes down once in a blue moon. If you
sudo lshw scroll down to where it notes eth0 hardware and look towards
the end of the description and IF you see driver="frocedeth" or
driver="?*" it's the darn $%^&*# card itself. You might want to check,
just for shucks and grins. Easy enough to replace for a couple of bucks.
