I WOULDN'T.... I've just tried it - libreoffice-gnome conflicts with
libreoffice-core.

I've used *buntu since 2007 (xubuntu now) and I always seem to have
problems trying to install latest builds to the point that i don't
bother. Be patient and wait for 13.10.... that what I'm doing. I've
found lots of trouble with Abiword (which has to be a development
version as dependencies have changed for .deb I gather) and
Libreoffice. I'm using google docs until troubles are over!
