Are you looking at alot of print volume or small volume? We
have a HP Officejet 8500 that is set up to scan and print
(don't remember if it does duplex as it is mostly a for
conveince so the secretary can do a fast page without going
to the other side of the office and to scan things) It is
older but I think it is still available. It drinks ink
though. We also have two Savins a rebuilt 2527 copier we
don't have it set up to scan but it is suppose to have a
scanning option. We originally did not have it connected to
be a printer but needed to print 11 X 17 and it was a piece
of cake to add to the network. We also have a Savin CLP37DN
which prints color, duplex, envelopes, etc. It is a high
volume postscript printer and works great, however it is not
a multi-funciton machine. We had originally planned on
buying a black and white laserjet but the color paid for
itself in what we save by being able to print the logo on
the envelopes along with the address instead of paying a
printer for envelopes and just printing the address. I have
been impressed with the Savin printer and copier we've had
both for about 18 months and had zero issues with them.
                      Linda
