My apologies, I wasn't clear.

I was asking if Chromium (provided in the Ubuntu repositories) uses the 
same version of flash that Google Chrome does.  Apparently not...

chrome://plugins results:

Chromium (ubuntu)
Adobe Flash Player Version 11.2 r202

Google Chrome (windows)
Adobe Flash Player Version 11.8.800.97

I don't have Google Chrome installed on my Linux boxes to check, but I 
suspect it should be the same for Chrome on windows.
