Printing a manual is so last century! :-P

Seriously, I doubt you will need to print anything, getmail is really 
easy to setup, and if memory serves me correctly there are also a lot of 
example configs that only need minor changes in 90% of all usage cases.

The getmail mailing list is low traffic but active. The software writer 
actively reads it and responds to questions, though he is not exactly 
eager to add new bling to the code (but I consider that to be a good 
thing).
