lightning incompatible to thunderbird

hi

i m facing serious problems with lightning.
At the project page
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/lightning/

I can read

Thunderbird 24.0: Lightning 2.6
Thunderbird 24.0.1: Lightning 2.6.1

If i open a shell and `Thunderbird --version` i get Thunderbird 24.0.

If i open thunderbird and click "help">"About thunderbird"
I get Thunderbird 24.0

Any help? Lightning isnt working! Very frustrating!
