Hi,
Had a similar problem mounting sd card ubuntu couldn't read exfat file
system by default, solved it by installing exfat-fuse (sudo apt-get install
exfat-fuse). Turns out this only works on 12.04 and later, a friend is
still running 11.10 and its not in repository.
