where is caledar and clock?

It should be there by default.  There is a known bug [1] that can
cause this.  Check whether in System Settings > Time & Date > Clock
all the options are greyed out, in which case you are seeing this bug,
and a reboot will generally fix it.  If the options are not greyed out
check that Show Clock in Menu Bar is  ticked.  If it is the bug click
the green 'does this bug affect you' link and say yes.
