.Xauthority issue

so I looked an I find these:
-rw-------  1 pbc  pbc     114 Oct  1 09:34 .Xauthority
-rw-rw-r--  1 pbc  pbc       0 Jul 14 13:55 .Xauthority.2EQE0W
-rw-rw-r--  1 pbc  pbc       0 Jul 12 08:30 .Xauthority.7LQIZW
-rw-rw-r--  1 pbc  pbc       0 Aug 16 06:20 .Xauthority.I9EX1W

I take it I can remove the .Xauth*W files?
