Yes - includes some KDE pgms but not the whole of KDE. Problems seem
to be mostly associated with packages - LO [especially with ppt
files], audacity, okular, etc, and, as I think about it, occur with
[mostly? all?] 'foreign' files, not files I made. In the 'fragile OS'
state, though, competely different instances of otherwise-good pgms
[editor, file manager, Opera FF, etc] are suddenly closed [or perhaps
well hidden] with all work lost.

No - if things run, I'm not a tweaker. :-)
