Is there an instruction somewhere how to compile that application? I 
downloaded it and only found several directories which seem to be 
individual projects which are somehow put together for the final thing. 
However I couldn't find an explanation which parts are needed to be 
compiled and installed in which sequence.

OTOH, if you post the error message, it might be obvious what is 
missing.
