WS=> Sorry for not responding earlier , I was very busy lately...
I tried using pavucontrol but the reports for the accounts that are
working and the one account where the sound is only partially working
are identical.
I do get the opening and sound on the affected account. When I am using
the Firefox, VLC, trying to listen to a CD, etc applications, there is
no sound. What would make the sound in applications not work. It
probably is not mute because I checked that in all these apps. It has
to be something global for this account only.
