What Doug says about a good cleanout is the first thing that popped up in
my mind reading through all of the previous comments.
If the machine hasn't been "aired out" recently then take it outside, stand
upwind and wear a dust mask or damp bandanna while you use a can of
compressed air to get as much dust and lint out as possible.
