Ah, that still happens if you are viewing a flash player file and have 
hardware graphics acceleration turned on. Just left click on the video 
and select Global Settings and turn that option off. (unclick it)

I got it fixed though ... I think. I have an nVidia card and went on a 
tear with Synaptic and removed every x11 driver that wasn't nVidia and 
rebooted. There was some intel specific graphic packages that also got 
ripped out. I rebooted and watched John Carter minus the lipstick! :) Ric
