The volume controller has a mic input which is controlled by the USB
sound card and works just fine. The problem is just that I cannot use
aux and usb at the same time. I have to physically unplug the usb cable
to activate the aux/in and then connect my radio with the speakers.

In pavucontrol in the "Configuration" tab the USB sound card is
configured as "Analog stereo duplex", but it does not have any effect
what I choose. The speakers are 2.1 (two satelites and one subwoofer)
with a special volume control unit that is connected to the subwoofer
and has a 3.5mm line out and mic input on which I have connected my
headset and which works just fine. I have already tried all different
kind of configurations and they had no effect so far. I just appears as
if the aux input keeps being muted.
