Just maybe, and this is an outside wild a$$ guess, but have you checked 
your bios for it's video settings? Like defining the exact slot that the 
card is in? That any onboard video support is off, since that 6200 is an 
addon?

I had to fiddle with mine, when it was brand-new, and the system video 
came to life after. It might have more to do with the driver not being 
able to contend with the bios, rather than the driver itself? It's worth 
a peek to see if that is even a remote possibility.

p/s you might also need a new battery for the bios by now? It could be 
starting to lose it's settings between power-downs and returning to 
default with onboard video defined?? Another wild-a$$ guess!
