Virtualising a physical machine

That sounds very nice - but what exactly does "clone the existing
physical server" mean? And "insert the Clonezilla ISO" may be
problematical when I need at least three DVDs or at least 15 CDs to
store the physical server's disk...

Not saying it's not possible, just that there are a couple of steps in
there that look a bit like "magic happens" and I'd like to be clear on
what they are!
