It is to be praised that the IT engineer knows the details, but I fail 
to see why it should be applauded that the IT engineer shows off knowing 
the details in a pedantic way ;-)

Anyway, instead of spending energy arguing over trivial matters, both 
parties maybe can redirect their energies at something more positive? 
You both have a point guys, but please refrain from letting your 
emotions get into it.
