What a pretentious ass. Those of us out in the field actually working on
computers for a living, and who hang out online have been writing it as
'bios' for many years. The same way people write cd-rom, dvd, and many other
acronyms. 

It has the same meaning no matter how its capitalized. It's an acronym. Your
point is meaningless.

If you had ever actually looked at any of the motherboard manufactures
websites for a bios, you'll find on most that even the newest, uefi-based
models direct you to click on 'bios' to find the area the op is looking for.


And I won't mention that you missed the point entirely that the op seemed
confused because of your lack of explanation about what you wanted him to
do. I was clarifying.
