Hello,
A friend of mine gave me a Canon LiDE 3000F scanner. I'd like to use it on
my Ubuntu 12.04 box, but it isn't recognized by both Simple Scan and
gScan2PDF.
I have a Canon LiDE 20 that works perfectly for years (with previous
versions of Ubuntu).
I remembered I had to edit the /lib/udev/rules.d/40-libsane.rules file
once to enable the LiDE 20, which is on the list, but the 3000F isn't.
What do I have to do to make it work?
I tried Google, but all I got were links to the manufacturer site to
download Windows drivers.
Thanks!
Amichai,
