There is no problem printing less than the pages meantioned in the specs
of a laser printer. The toner doesn't dry out like ink does. The rated
monthly pages are more a hint for which customer group the printer is
designed. I would think that this printer is made for home use. If you
print more than those 250 - 950 pages per month, the device may be
defective sooner than you would expect because there are probably some
cheap components used which will wear off too soon.
