Hi,

i have an Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64bit running as a virtual machine on top of a SLES 11 SP2 host.
When i shutdown the host i'd like to have the vm also shutting down. When someone is logged in, that works. But if no one is logged in (vm after reboot/start standing in LightDM logon screen) i can't shutdown the vm from the host. Most of the time no one is logged in because the vm is a dedicated server.

Any ideas ?

Bernd
