Here I am! You betcha, since I'm on a Hughesnet Sat dish to the net, I
spend about $8 US and a coupla bucks for the postage, from ondisk.com
and get their DVD. The one advertised as being FULL.
I still spend some time on the net to get the usual unusual stuff, but
it beats the living heck our of doing it via the net after the tea
bagging you get from an install CD. One bleep or bloop on the line,
during the install, and it all goes to hell. Plus, if I dodge something
up, I just re-install from the DVD, no worries. My two cents.
And no, I don't allow it to update during the install. I want to get it
all to the platter and booting first. It's easy enough to update after. Ric
