How do I get the default Network Manager plus dnsmasq-base setup back again?

I'm glad that it's working.
I just assumed (!) that only "lo" was set up in "/e/n/i". I even said
that I commented out "eth0" in one of my posts [1] when I was trying
to reproduce your problem.
