I am not excited.
I am only replying to incorrect opinions that are not based on knowledge
of how and for what
a desktop may be used and whether such desktop needs ntp or not.
As I said I am running Mate,which obviously screwed up it's menus, so as
one OP
stated, this is also a Mate problem, and not necessarily a Ubuntu
problem as to why
"time and date" is not part of the System -> Administration menu.
Nevertheless, it is an extremely silly thing not to include ntp into
every desktop
distribution.
