strange USB issue

I just installed Ubuntu 12.10 on a Lenovo Ideacenter with an i5 3rd gen
CPU. The machine has four 2.0 USB and two 3.0 USB.

I record a podcast using Audacity. I've noticed, since the installation,
while recording, the recording will stop. I then have to manually stop the
recording and start again.

I did a tail -f /var/log/syslog to find a bunch of urb err -27 lines. I've
tried to search for what this error points out, but cannot find what error
-27 is. Does anyone here know?
