K3b problem

Using K3b Version 2.0.2
KDE Development Platform 4.9.3

This version is unable to add mp3's to a project and automagically
convert them to wav and burn them to media.
It simply fails and pops a banner advising the user to first convert
them to wav files.

I had used a version of k3b on Fedora and it allowed user to add
any audio file to a project, and burn the project to media. K3b
took care of the conversion to wav before burning (probably by

invoking ffmpeg or mencode or ....? in the background).
