Hi JD, to get rid of those you need to uninstall the corresponding
packages in your package manager of choice. They are installed
system-wide and as such not removable by users (only superuser can do
it). Note that some meta-packages (empty packages meant to drag along
default dependencies) may depend on those and be removed at the same
time, no big deal as long as only "dummy" meta-packages are removed (no
real program or functionality is affected).
From the top of my head you need to look at "ubufox" extension (package
name start with "xul-ext", any "firefox-globalmenu" package, maybe a
couple others. I can't be more precise because I don't use Unity and
have removed those packages long ago.
