so I run synaptic and I see ( with no check marks, but available)
linux                            3.11.0.14.15
Linux image               3.11.0.14.15
linux-generic              3.11.0.14.15
linux-tools                   3.11.0.14.15

when I look at repositories- Updates. all are checked EXCEPT for
Pre-released updates ( saucy-proposed)
