Hi.. I tried to run HP's builtin 'validity' finger print scanner using this
method:

http://tryitnw.blogspot.com/2013/02/easy-steps-to-enable-finger-print.html

fprint installed correctly and gave:

auth [success=2 default=ignore] pam_fprintd.so

also $lsusb gives:

Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:0020 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching Hub
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 8087:0020 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 138a:0007 Validity Sensors, Inc. VFS451 Fingerprint
Reader
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 04f2:b15e Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd

.. the second last being detected as the sensor. Now the issue is that when
I try to enroll the finger prints via $fprintd-enroll it gives:

list_devices failed: No devices available

Anything I am missing with respect to linux? The device is showing.. do I
need any thing else?
