I started trying to implement this:
http://xmodulo.com/2013/12/integrate-google-calendar-linux-desktop.html
On my 13.19 laptop, but I could not make it wrk, I kept getting puthon
errors, so I ecided to go back annd use the pacakages in the epostiry ass
spelled out in:
http://xmodulo.com/2013/12/install-configure-conky-linux.html
and, indeed have this working on my 12.04 workstation, but I aparently
have not manage to clean up all the things I did in trying to isntall the
non repositry bersions of things. When I try to run gcalcli I get:
stan at flufy:~$ gcalcli agenda
ERROR: Missing module - cannot import name __version__
I have done an apt-get purge gcalcli, and apt-get purge python-urllib3
and apt-get install python-urllib3, but I must still have some rements f
the orignal effort remaining. I tried to figure out from the gcalcli script
what it's dependenciees are, but i do not underrstand python (yet) s I didd
not acheve this goal.
This looks so cool on my worksttion, I am dying to see it work oon my
laptop.
Can someone pleasse give me some advice as to how to sort this ot?
