smaill mail server for single user

Tom, I used to use fetchmail, postfix and dovecot for my mail server.
I ran it on my computer and it grabbed emails from gmail, my one time yahoo acct
and my own domain and it was all in maildir format.

Lookup  Ubuntu: postfix dovecot install and you'll find a lot of tutorials.
