cannot install tzdata-java on 12.04 LTS

Ok, I did that (forgot about that setting), but only after installing 
tzdata-java as per http://superuser.com/questions/478284/ which I think 
might be a bug(?).

Should I remove the manually installed package and, with this setting, 
will apt install the correct version?  Or, is the whole thing a bug?  
(There's a link to the bug report on the superuser question.)
