Ubuntu on a tablet... Is there one?

Many of the books I'm finding for my history project have photos, so the 
small size of a phone would leave out many needed details, especially 
when trying to determine exactly where the photo was taken, and the 
contents of the photo.  I recently was trying to determine where a 
particular building was located.  Even on this iMac, 24", I was having 
no luck until I zoomed way in and could see details in the background. 
There is no way a phone's screen size would have let me do that.

I don't have the "ball and chain" effect of a cell phone.  They don't 
work at my house anyway, regardless of the provider.  No line of sight 
to the cell towers.  I rarely have it even turned on, and at the moment, 
it's living in my car!   LOL   So my first generation smartphone has 
been cut back to just basic cell service.  I found it fun to use at 
first, but when I came back down to earth, I realized it was a pretty 
useless form factor for doing anything really serious for any length of 
time.
