I have to care about lots of stuff. For my own sanity, I'd rather
encourage people who already care about things to go and talk to the
right people to fix them; that improves the probability that they'll
know the right place to go in future to get similar things fixed, which
seems likely to be a net improvement for everyone.

Nope. I talked to you, quoting something I'd said before because I
didn't much feel like saying it again in a different way. (And I
haven't seen this brought up on ubuntu-release yet ...)
