Support for non-english keyboards

I can help you with Thunderbird, but you don't give enough information 
for detailed help. I assume you already have fonts for the language in 
question. In Thunderbird's preferences, make adjustments in Display and 
Composition. In Display choose the font for your language and in 
Advanced make the indicated choices. Similarly for Composition. Also, 
the View menu should enable reading texts in many, but not all, 
languages in fonts and formats you haven't been able to set.
