"Audio device is unaccessible now" on Ubuntu 12.04

My audio is fine. I have no issues with it. It is only when i attend 
Webex meetings that i get this error message in Webex. Calls over skype 
just work flawlessly. The main issue is with Webex only.

Will installing pavucontrol fix this problem for me ?
